DESCRIPTION:Connected Canadians is a registered charity founded in Ottawa 2018 which focuses on reducing isolation and loneliness among older adults by promoting digital literacy and inclusion through a customized\, person-centered learning approach. Volunteers with high tech comfort levels are paired with senior clients to tackle technology challenges together. \nMany Connected Canadians volunteers are also newcomers. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of flavour\, culture\, and connection as the Local Immigration Partnership – Lanark & Renfrew\, in collaboration with the Town of Petawawa and Latino Connection in the Ottawa Valley\, presents a special Latin American Cooking Demonstration on Monday\, June 9th at 5:30 p.m. at the Petawawa Civic Centre. \nAs part of Culture Connect\, this event celebrates Latin American heritage through the universal language of food.
