DESCRIPTION:From the 9th to the 22nd of June\, the Carleton Place Public Library has lots activities for the community to engage in as part of the 2025 summer edition of Culture Connect: \n\nSpill the Tea: Tea is a drink enjoyed around the globe. Stop by the Library to pick up your mystery take-and-make kit with 5 of 10 different types of teas to try and enjoy. Learn about the different teas and cultural traditions involving tea using the resources in your kit.There is an opportunity for participants to share their experience online using both hashtags #CultureConnect and #SpillTheTea.\nBiblio Bingo: Culture Connect Biblio Bingo is a fun way for library patrons to engage in guided learning as you choose your bingo journey from the prompts on the Culture Connect Biblio Bingo card. Some examples include\, watch a movie in a different language\, read an 2SLGBTQ+ story\, read something by an author who identifies as disabled\, etc.\n\nKits are available while supplies last. \nLibrary Hours:\nSun – Closed\nMon-Thurs: 10:30 am-8 pm\nFri & Sat: 10 am-5:30 pm
