DESCRIPTION:Join me\, Heather Rudzinski\, on June 10th from 2:00 – 3:30 pm\, as we create a windmill quilt design greeting card. In this workshop\, you will assemble the pieces of the quilt\, much like putting together a puzzle. We will be layering the quilt onto a beautifully embossed background\, and then embellishing the card with a flower. To complete our card\, we will stamp a sentiment with your choice of quilty quotes. \nQuilting has a long and impressive history in Canada\, dating back to the 1600s when Europeans brought the practice with them when they settled in this country. Quilting in Canada has evolved over the years and became a social activity in which people would gather to sew quilts and share their stories.
