DESCRIPTION:First Nations Drums have sounded on the land for thousands of years…\nJoin Trevor Pearce\, Drum Keeper and co-facilitator Joanne Haskin\, Executive Director\, Mashkiwizii Manido Foundation\, to experience hand drumming. “I have been honoured to be part of a Big Drum (Powwow Drum) for over a decade. Being a Drum Keeper has changed my life. I would love to share the story of the Drum\, the basics of keeping a Drum\, First Nations Drum Etiquette\, explain a little bit about how a Drum can help heal\, and perhaps share a few songs\,” shares Trevor. \nHand Drums will be provided\, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have one. \nWe ask that you register here so that we know how many people to prepare for.
