Jodi Bucholtz (She/her)

Manager

Jodi is the Manager of Local Immigration Partnership – Lanark & Renfrew. A results-driven leader, she is always ready to create genuine connections. She leads a team of dedicated professionals working with community partners to establish goals and objectives and deliver on these expectations through activities and events supporting newcomers to the region.

 

Jodi has a diverse educational background encompassing fine arts, adult education, and business administration. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from NSCAD University, where she honed her creative talents, innovation, and artistic vision. Complementing her passion for teaching and empowering others, Jodi obtained a Teacher of Adult Lifelong Learners Certificate from Algonquin College, equipping her with the skills to educate and inspire adult learners effectively. Her dedication to educational advancement led her to complete a Master of Education (MEd) degree at Memorial University, deepening her pedagogy and instructional strategies expertise. Currently, Jodi is furthering her academic pursuits as an MBA candidate at the University of Fredericton, where she aspires to integrate her diverse skill set and leadership experience to drive positive organizational change.

 

With over 15 years of experience in higher education, her background in seeing people succeed and community development brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Jodi plays a pivotal role in fostering a welcoming environment for newcomers, integrating their unique needs and contributions into the fabric of the region.

 

Her passion for empowering newcomers and collaborative approach has led to successful programs and initiatives that enhance integration, strengthen community ties, and celebrate cultural diversity. Jodi’s profound belief in the transformative power of intercultural connections drives her compassionate leadership as she works closely with stakeholders, government agencies, and non-profits to create inclusive spaces for all.

Gabriella Salera (She/her)

Acting Administrator

Gabriella is the Acting Administrator for Local Immigration Partnership – Lanark & Renfrew. She brings diverse skills and experiences to the LIP team and our community. Her professional journey, from providing efficient project and administrative support in the construction industry to excelling as a team leader and demonstrating marketing prowess, data collection proficiency, and exceptional client communication, showcases her adaptability and versatility. Her background in maintaining confidentiality and providing excellent client service in animal welfare-related roles further underscores her well-rounded expertise, making her a valuable addition to our team and a significant asset to our community.

Gabriella holds a distinguished academic background, including a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Project Management, both earned from ENEB. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Animal and Biological Sciences from Latrobe University. This educational foundation equips her with diverse knowledge and skills.

Ro Nwosu

Meet the LIP – Lanark & Renfrew Project Assistant – Ro!

Ro Nwosu is a dedicated and visionary team member with the Local Immigration Partnership – Lanark & Renfrew. She brings an impressive range of leadership, advocacy, and community-building skills to the LIP team and the wider region. With over 15 years of experience managing business operations, leading diverse teams, and fostering inclusive environments, Ro’s professional background includes stakeholder engagement, program advocacy, financial oversight, and creative communications. Her ability to connect across sectors—from entrepreneurship and public speaking to wellness and community care—reflects a strong commitment to empowerment, equity, and meaningful collaboration. Ro’s work has consistently focused on uplifting BIPOC communities, women, and underrepresented voices, making them a passionate and impactful addition to the team.

Ro holds multiple wellness, coaching, and trauma-informed practice certifications and is an ICF-approved personal and professional coach. Her blend of practical experience and specialized training equips them with the tools to lead with empathy, strategy, and innovation across all aspects of community engagement.
