Ramen Shop (2018)

Ramen Shop follows Masato, a young ramen chef from Japan, who embarks on a journey to Singapore after his father’s death, seeking his mother’s family and the recipes she left behind. Along the way, he discovers a culinary heritage in Singapore and reconnects with his estranged relatives, guided by the assistance of food blogger Miki. Through cooking and exploring his mother’s homeland, Masato not only discovers delicious signature dishes but also finds a path to his grandmother’s heart, bridging the gap between his Japanese and Singaporean heritage.
