Join the Arnprior Public Library and the Arnprior & District Museum for a whole day of fun, learning, and creativity as we celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Arnprior!

Día de los Muertos is a fun and vibrant festival where families take time to remember and celebrate their loved ones who have passed. Celebrated predominately in Mexico and parts of Latin America, those celebrating will participate in various festivities with family and friends. We hope to celebrate with you!

What’s on at the Museum (10am-4pm):

• Community ofrenda or alter – a tradition of Day of the Dead
• Sugar Skull painting activity
• Sugar Skull foam clay craft activity
• Marigold headband making
• Papel Picado making
• face painting (10:30am-12:30pm)

What’s on at the Library (10am-2pm):

• Spanish story time
• Snacks
• Marigold making
• Music

Come together at 1pm in the parking lot for our very own Día de los Muertos mini parade! Show off the amazing crafts you made, the new Spanish words you have learnt, and more!*
