June 13 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

What does peaceful conflict resolution mean and what does it mean to be a ‘peace professional’?

Join us for an evening of conversation, learning, and reflection as we explore peaceful conflict resolution and mediation—a discussion on the role and relevance of those who actively uphold the values of peace in professional settings, day-to-day life, and society.

This Culture Connect event will explore:

  • The culture of peace as a set of shared values and principles.
  • What defines a peace professional.
  • How to apply these values to real-life situations in a thoughtful way.
  • A guided reflection on current global peace issues.

Resources and information sheets will be provided by session facilitator, Theresa Dunn and light snacks will be available for all attendees. This event is open to all interested in learning about peace as a profession and how you can practice peaceful conflict resolution in your personal and professional life.
