We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the Eastern Ontario Immigrant Attraction and Retention Strategy Virtual Summit on Wednesday, October 4, 12:30 – 4 pm and Thursday, October 5, 8:30 am – 12:30 pm.
Local Immigration Partnership – Lanark & Renfrew Counties in partnership with The Eastern Ontario Training Board (EOTB), Ottawa Local Immigration Partnership (OLIP), Réseau de soutien à l’immigration francophone de l’est de l’Ontario (RSIFEO), and St. Lawrence-Rideau Immigration Partnership – Leeds and Grenville, believe that our holistic regional immigration strategy serves as a blueprint to support a strong, healthy, vibrant, and diverse future for The County of Renfrew, Lanark County, City of Ottawa, the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry United Counties, and the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
Though the Strategy focuses on a designated portion of Eastern Ontario, we believe the Strategy blueprint and information sharing during the Summit apply to many communities and welcome open participation despite where you may live, work and play.
The Eastern Ontario Immigrant Attraction and Retention Strategy Virtual Summit aims to unite leaders, policymakers, community organizations, and stakeholders to explore innovative approaches and best practices in attracting and retaining immigrants in our region.
We hope the information shared during the Summit will serve as a launching pad to implement some of the 16 Priority Actions outlined in the Strategy.
