Residents Demand Mayors and Councils Face Up to Racism

Media coverage of incidents of racism in rural areas of Canada, including the Ottawa Valley, are applying more pressure to municipalities to take leadership roles in addressing systemic racism. Community champions are leading the charge and are taking their message to town council meetings.
